Cathay Pacific Waitlisting?
I've recently booked a flight on CX for dec 11 from toronto to hk. I wanted to book one for dec 10, but it was full. I was put on waitlist. Economy. Does anyone know my chances of having clearance? Is there an order in which the waitlisted passengers are cleared? I'm an asia miles member and marco polo green tier.
don't remember exact class, but i'm quite sure it was restricted economy. anyone care to give me a percentage of how big my chance is to have clearance?

Green tier is the bottom so Marco Polo elite tiers will have priority waitlisting over you from Invitation, Diamond, Gold and Silver. You probably won't find many Invitations or Diamonds in economy...

CX is showing availability in economy for 10Dec. What fare class are you booked into? If it is something lower than Y then your chances of clearing are not good since the flight is very full and there is only Y economy open at this time. Stranger things have happened though. If an entire group or large family cancels then you might clear the waitlist.
