Is the song "Behind blue eyes" (by Limp Bizkit) contradicting itself?

In the first part of the song the first person narrator tells about his feelings (that no one knows what it's like to be fated to telling only lies). So he might sing the song under the fate of telling lies too.

But in the third part he says "I'm not telling lies"

IMO it's a paradox like:

The sentence below is wrong.

The sentence above is true.

What do you think ?!?

so what if he didn't write it? that wasn't the question. ha ha jeez, because limp bizkit added in verses that weren't in the original who song. anyway, i believe that when he says "no one knows what it's like to be fated to telling only lies" he's referring to his feelings, and how he always has to hide his emotions hence being behind "blue eyes." but in the chorus when he states "i'm not telling lies" he was referring to how cold hearted and untrustworthy people are, when he says "no one knows how to say they're sorry, don't worry, i'm not telling lies."

so he's saying he's not lying about what he's saying, about others, he is just fated to lie about his emotions and his pain.

    maybe??haha.

I think.....the song isn't by Limp Bizkit, it's by The Who!!

Townshend wrote it while working on the Lifehouse project. During this time, they had a grueling show schedule, and alot of problems within the band. More then likely, it's an outcry to the band to stop all the fighting, etc.

No panq...take it in context. Townshend wrote the song, Limp Bizkit didn't. The context of that phase is that The Who is fated to be great. Problems amongst the members led to the lies. And so goes "No one knows what it's like to be fated......to telling only lies." Applying it to Limp Bizkit makes it irrelevant, because they didn't author it.
