I need job fair attire help! Can you help my girl figure out what she should wear?

Question

Ok. Me and my girl (stud) are in the same class and have to go to this job fair sponsored by our school. I'm going because I need a new job, but she's going because she needs a job and extra credit for the class. 
In class and out she dresses like a boy: baggy pants, white tees, and corn rows. But she has never had the chance to dress up for interview purposes, and she finds it a little scary to dress in pantyhose and pumps, slacks, and a blouse.
When I've seen her dressed up she's slacks, shirt n tie, and some fly Stacy Adams shoes... She doesn't want people to focus on the fact that she's a homosexual, but she doesn't want to pretend to be femme just so that sake of a job. 
What should she do???

tell her to lose the tie and the stacy adams, she can dress up and not pretend to be femme. i do it all the time. slacks, loafers, and a nice button up shirt that's not too masculin or feminine. or wear a sweater with a nice collar shirt underneath... men and women are doing that. just lose the tie and stacy adams and she sould be fine and comfortable. It's just for a day.

Labor Day doesn't make a difference any more. That's "old school". The suit your'e describing sounds nice. Years ago, I was told by the Unemployment Office to dress as if you were starting the job the day of your interview. Good Luck, I know looking for a job is a job in itself...
