What is a good halloween costume for a couple?

Question

My boyfriend and I are going to a few parties on Halloween evening and most are requiring you to dress up. We kind of wanted to make our costumes relate to each other, and aren't sure what to do.....

Right now my boyfriend's crazy about dressing up like a beer can and me dressing up like one of those german beer girls, but I'm definitely open to more ideas.

LOL! That is such a guy idea! It's cute, though. 

My boyfriend and I are going as Sid & Nancy (Sid Vicious from the Sex Pistols and his crazy girlfriend). 

I've always liked the idea of going as real-life couples. Marc Antony & Cleopatra, Romeo & Juliet, Johnny Cash & June Carter, etc. 

One year at Halloween I saw a couple go as the American Gothic painting (if you don't know what it looks like just google it) and they walked around all night in a picture frame. It was hilarious!
