How can God be apart from space and time also be with us here and now?
Here's the conundrum I'm dealing with:
God is either part of time and space, or not. There's no having it both ways, here. Any connection to or awareness of time/space makes God part of time/space.
So if God is even for a moment part of time and space, God must have a beginning, otherwise He would never have arrived at that moment, and therefore be finite.
God could not hear and answer prayer in our time, because anything apart from time has no connection to time-based events. God would not be able to perform miracles, because miracles would require God be aware of and act in our time/space which He is, supposedly, wholly apart from.
No days of Creation, no walking and talking with Adam and Eve.
I've considered spiritual connection to the Divine, but the spirit is tied to the body, which is part of time/space. Even if we say the spirit has no physical dimension, the time the spirit comes upon us, is with us, and leaves us is time-based, and cannot connect to something outside of time.
I've considered God popping in and out of time/space, but that would require awareness of time and space, unless popping in and out was random.
As far as I've thought of it, a God transcending time and space may as well not exist.
Ideas on that?

A circle has no beginning or end but it does exist. You can touch any point of the circle and that circle encompasses all that is within it.
Now turn that circle into a sphere. The sphere completely encompasses all that is within it but the sphere has no beginning or end, it exists at all points surrounding it's contents at once.
With either the circle or the sphere (we are making them solid objects) if you touch any part of it then that touch transfers force to all other parts simultaneously.
Next we give that sphere consciousness and awareness. A single one, one mind that is the sphere. That sphere can be "touched" by anything it contains at any point and that touch translates to all parts of the sphere (and it's consciousness) simultaneously.
So God can exist outside of space and time as a container. He is the sphere that contains space and time. As such, any part of God that touches any part of space time is, therefore, touched by that part of space time and translates that interaction to all parts of the Godsphere at once and is therefore processed by the consciousness and awareness of God. And since he is that which encompasses all of space time all points of space and time contact some part of the Godsphere. As such the consciousness of the Godsphere can interact with and be aware of all parts of space and time without being bound BY them because God is, in fact, BINDING them. He is not a part of them, they are a part of him.

Good question.
" Any connection to or awareness of time/space makes God part of time/space. "
I am aware of the internet amd Y!A but am I part of the Internet and Y!A ?
"So if God is even for a moment part of time and space, God must have a beginning, otherwise He would never have arrived at that moment, and therefore be finite."
Do i exist before the start of a film on TV or does the fact I can pause / rewind the film to any point I like, muddle the idea of me being in the same space-time continuum ?
So it comes down to your initial premise,
" God is either part of time and space, or not. There's no having it both ways, here. Any connection to or awareness of time/space makes God part of time/space. "
How does awareness of a thing mean you are bound by it's laws ?
Being aware of a play and acting in it you are still transcendent to it and able to 'change the script' any time you feel like.
So think of it as,
the world is a computer game,
and God is the programmer and administrator.
If i have misunderstood your conundrum please let me know and I will try and find a new solution.

I didn't want to answer but I believe that I must.
The only limitation is that of the mind.
God is Omnipotent, He's every where all the time, just because he's God. I think we get too caught up in wasting energy trying to find answers for things that are irrelevant. What's relevant is why we have some with too much and others with too little and no one reaching out a hand to help each other.
There's no reason why that should happen and survival of the fittest in my opinion is nonsense, what are we animals? Animals care for each other sometimes better than we do for each.
I hope this makes sense to you, I'm not trying to be closed minded but I too struggle with where God is, but I take comfort in knowing that He's here when I need him.

1. Not at all. 2. We can, we have to accept what He says is true and righteous. Accept a Bible study, from others that know Him. 3. No, we are only a little less than angels. 4. We can come to know Him. see answer # 2. 5. Accept a free home Bible study. All your questions will be answered in a satisfying manner. 6. He didn't. We are created with the gift of free will. Would you rather we were all robots? I know I wouldn't. We (humans) have to accept that even tho' we are thinking and reasoning creatures. We are not greater than our Creator. I was not raised in a Christian household, of any sort whatsoever. When I finally, picked up a Bible written in modern English, I was able to start learning. Learn the TRUTH. Not the lies of Christendom - to much of what they say makes no logical, reasonable sense. AT ALL. When I accepted what I was learning, it was the beginning of wisdom, from above.

Yessir u guessed it right. God has a very special knack of extending
(as opposed to multipying or dividing) HIS consciousness throughout
HIS creation known to Hindus as "Anway" whereas HE resides all
the time in HIS abode outside of the Space-Time continnum (both
Space & Time are themselves a part of the creation which is illusory)
This existence is known to Hindus as "Vyatirek" as opposed
to "Anway".
To make matters clear I would say the "Vyatirek" existence of God
outside of HIS creation is akin to a projector from which proceed the
beams of Duality , Illusion and "Yogmaya" which serve as the
building blocks of all the creation that we see around us.The"Anway"
existence of God is more like the image we see on the celluloid,
which is basically a reflection of the main source of light.
Hence God can function both locally and non-locally.
The spirit of man however is not tied to time and space or even the
body as you suggest. It is merely mired in ignorance and the
moment it awakens from that igorance it becomes free.
May I congratulate you sir on asking a very relevant and insightful
and well researched question? hope to hear from you again.

How about this: God created space and time and knows
exactly how it can and should operate and directs that
operation. He can do whatever He wants. He can make
himself or a part of himself "fit" wherever and whenever
He deems necessary! This is part of the reason for the
belief in the Trinity that God can be in different places,
on different "planes" at once when it comes to our
time and space since His level of existence includes
more dimensions than ours does!

you are trying to think in scientific terms which limits reality
God has always existed and has never had a beginning.
Our time and space we live in is part of that eternity.
God lives in this time and space we live in but is not limited by our time restraints.
God is spiritual not physical as we are. Any physical object has to have a beginning and a end. A spiritual being as God is eternal and has always been here and will always be here even after the physical universe starts to run down.
Our physical time runs Parallel with God's eternity

"In the beginning" the first 3 words in the Bible explain this. God created time for man... a beginning and an end. God lives in eternity...the ever present I AM.

Good question. I think maybe it's that God isn't bound by the rules of space and time.
If there is a stream, the fish must stay in it. You can wade through the stream, but you're not restricted to stay there, and go wherever the water goes.

God who is Spiritual became a man. He came to the earth as a human man, Jesus Christ. Jesus experienced everything that we do in the way of sorrow, pain, happiness and temptation. Jesus understands us. After His death and resurrection, He left the earth to be with God the Father. Jesus sent His Holy Spirit to live inside of each person who accepts Jesus as their Lord and their Savior.
To better understand God, read His letter to us.
