Because she is clueless little bimbo who could be a heartbeat away from becoming the "leader of the free world" I don't know that that is as much a criticism of her as much as it is a criticism of John McCain who chose to put politics above the welfare of the nation by choosing someone whose only qualification is that she placates the far right nut-case wing of the Republican party. Yes, she could be better, but so could Brittney Spears and I wouldn't want to take a chance on her either!

Why are you surprised by this?
EVERY candidate has been criticized by the other side
Have you not listened to the crap that's been said about Obama and Hillary Clinton? It has been worse than the crap said about Palin. Unlike Palin,Clinton faced actual sexism from the media. Many pundits called her a "b*tch" on-air
The only sexist thing that Palin faced was a question about whether or not she would handle being a VP and a mom. I found that to be insulting even though I don't support her,but I found the crap said about Clinton to far more despicable
Anyways,I don't like Palin because she seriously is not capable of forming a coherent though.I'm more qualified to be VP than her,and I'm not even old enough to vote yet. I'm being absolutely serious here. I can do a better job as VP than her. I want a candidate who's better than me. She's also less experienced than Obama. Yes,I know that Obama is inexperienced, and I admit that. However,Obama understands what he's doing even if you don't agree with his policies. At least he understands them unlike Palin.
She's so terribly uninformed. Watching her interview with Couric and Gibson just shows her inexperience. What's worse is that when Tina Fey impersonated her,she used Palin's exact words to make fun of her
The blame also goes to the McCain campaign. They've kept her totally shut off from the media, and people are getting annoyed by that. They keep teaching her things to memorize, and they want her to be scripted. They're not letting her speak her own mind. If she jumps point to point at the debate like she did with Katie Couric, she's toast and so is the Republican ticket. If she was ready as they say she is,she should be able to handle it
@ the people who are saying that Palin is being criticized because she "threatens" the liberal agenda, then let me say that based on the utter bullshit that's been said about Obama, you must've been terrified of him. Still believing the crap that he's Muslim but a racist for attending a racist CHURCH,terrorist, that he's gay,and the anti-Christ. Based on all those things,it just shows that you're petrified

If she got into office, she would crush my American Constitution. That's a huge harm. She would try to crush my rights as a woman. That's a harm. She would have no idea how to handle the country's defense. That could be deadly. She would try to mangle the education of our country's children and ignore the existence of dinosaur skeletons. Loss of education is a huge harm for the entire country. She would try to censor books and free speech. That's a huge harm. She would make gigantic foreign policy gaffes, and that could cause ENORMOUS harm. We don't need anymore endless wars. Oh my, the list goes on, and it is all very harmful to all of the things I value as an American.
If she were some random lady living down my street, I'd wish her the best and not concern myself with her. However, she is RUNNING FOR OFFICE, and she would be making critical decisions that affect the lives of everyone in this country. If she got into office, the harm would be astronomical.

Hey man - I am a Rep and I support McCain. When Palin was his pick I was so excited about it. I like her. But her interviews have been very disappointing at best. I must agree, downright scary. It's like a different Sarah showed up on the set with Katie Couric. Sadly, here's my deal, if Palin totally bombs against Biden, I am voting for Bob Barr. My family says it's a wasted vote. I don't care. I am not pleased with the 2 party scenario either and neither were our founding Fathers. Besides, I will have bragging rights. I will be able to scream the loudest.

Under her as mayor, her town started charging rape victims for their own rape kits. That harmed some American people. She fired a librarian for refusing to ban books from the library. That harmed an American person. We believe that the more people she is given authority over, the more people she will harm.
It's not an unreasonable deduction.

Palin is being criticised because she appears to have the IQ of a monkey, but she could potentially have her hands on the presidency. She might be a good person, but that does not prepare u at all to be president.
- verrico98Lv 5vor 1 Jahrzehnt
This is because of liberal America where if you knock Obama, 99 times out of 100 race will be brought into it. Whereas bashing a woman is still acceptable. Do you think if Palin was black she would be hammered like she is now?
Political correctness has ruined this country. Obama is a moron, but je liberals will kiss his butt publicly - but will they vote for him when alone in the booth???????

Honestly, she severely threatened Obama's popularity. That's all she did.
If they overdo this attack on her, it could backfire. I hate to be sexist, but she is a woman, she might appear weak and people would perceive Obama and Biden as being overly aggressive on "poor little Sarah". It's been suggested, and polling data somewhat confirms, that McCain was perceived to be condescending to Obama, and that hurt him among some independents. The same could happen here, the other way around.

I have a niece named Matilda. She's pretty and sometimes she gets an "A" on her essays. The only reason she's not running for Vice-President is that she doesn't know any politicians. I ask you is THAT fair?
- mattyboymmaLv 5vor 1 Jahrzehnt
She's a politician. It's the responsibility of voters to scrutinize the credentials of politicians, especially ones that may become 2nd in command of our entire country.
If she didn't like criticism, she shouldn't have become a politician. Comes with the territory.
