Who should pay after dinning out?

Okay, I've got a brother (24) and he has a big problem. He's dating a 22year old girl. 
And she is really rich. She has rich parents and she's earning money like hay herself. They both were dinning out a few times and he said that she alsways wanted to pay the bill ('cause of her richness?). But this goes against his principles, his "male proudness" says that the man has to pay for dinning out. And by the way until now I assumed that the man always pays, too...
So he doesn't know what to do, and he thinks he is old-fashioned. What do you think...

It's not old-fashioned, millions have this problem each year. But the best thing for me to do would be to halve the bill but I'm not sure if that will work. How about trying to pay for each other's meals. That'll be fun, just kidding.

richest pays,buy the way its probly money which originated from her parents huh? and im sure she doesnt care,if hes secure he wouldnt care iether, my rich girlfriend bought me a speed boat,should i have said nahh, im a man im supposed to pay? yeh right,they probly wont be together long anyway if you look at stats, so have fun,why restrict things for petty manliness crap!
