Towering Inferno at Marriott Hotel Islamabad After Bomb Blast, Is it a Happy News to Jihadis during Ramadan?

The perpetrators should not be labeled as 'Jihadis', but as monsters without any sense of humanity.

It makes you wonder, doesn't it... did these terrorists even read the Quran or have an inkling of knowledge of Islam?

It's great to see a few Muslims speaking out against violence, but you guys are NOT doing it on a large scale. Why is that? Is it because for every peaceful verse you quote from the quran, there is a violent one that exists also? Chapter 9 is horrible! and it's one of the last ones that was revealed to Muhammad. Isn't that what the terrorist use to justify their actions? 9:5 (it's referred to as the Verse of the Sword!), 9:29, 9:111 - all quoted by terrorists, al qaeda, Taliban, etc. That makes them Muslims whether you like it or not. Some Muslims will say the violent verses are taken out of context, but will never say the same thing about peaceful verses. Why? Isn't that hypocritical and just a copout?

Violence is in the quran and there are Muslims who agree with it!! You so called "moderate" Muslims better face that. When you finally do, maybe you will all get the guts to reform islam. It needs it.

9:29 Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

EDIT: FTL - If you believe terrorism started when Bush became President, then you have absolutely no sense of history. Islamic terrorism has ALWAYS existed, back to Muhammad, but let's keep current and think about the plane hijackings in the 70s, Israeli athletes slaughtered at the Olympics, embassy bombings, the first attack on the Twin Towers.
