Professional football player wants me to go and see him. Guys what is he after?

i have known a pretty well known footballer for a while now and now that its summer he is offering me to go and see him in his home country. 
i know what first comes to mind is that hes looking for a fling. but there are certain things that seem to show that maybe he has a genuine interest in me?? its just that if it were for a one night thing then why would he want me to fly in from london to go and see him? surely there are enough ho*s who would love a one night stand with him in his own country. im not looking for anything like that. secondly, he makes a real effort - calls / texts / messenger when he gets the chance. english isnt his first language but i am surprised that he makes the effort when talking to me for all this time. 

if I were just another girl to him he wouldnt be so bothered right? or am i wrong, could there just be one thing on his mind and that would be sex?

Hmmm ...

Sounds like perhaps he does like you a little ....like you say he could get alot of girls closer to him for a quickie if he wanted ....so perhaps he does like you!

If it were me i would let him stew for a while, say your busy this week or purposely re-arrange the date to see how he reacts...You should be able to tell then whether he likes you or his after 1 thing ...

Well I've seen a Juventus/Vicenza game back in 1998. Zidane was on the team then. I did meet the cycling champion for "Il Giro d"Italia" in 1993. I remember he was very cute. My cousin in Italy married someone who knows many people in high places and I'm sure I could meet a player next time I go to Italy, however, I'm not really that kind of person. If it happens, great. If not, that's okay too. I wont go out of my way. They are not God. Just good players who have lives and probably want to be left alone.
