A quaint observation...?

Perhaps it is God trying to drive home to you the message of John 3:16...

For God so loved.... Man you can put anything in there...Even YOUR name.

I love quaint observations!! The main reason that it is seen everywhere is because it really does sum up a believer's faith in one sentence. I think some people do it as a way of saying "We believe God can make things happen.(Maybe like He then will chose their sports team to win) If you ever have seen the movie "Oh God 2" -kids

got people to "think God" simply by putting "Think God" signs all over town--I think it's the same concept.

I have no doubt that, if Christians controlled things, John 3:16 AND John 1... would be printed on napkins, paper towels, kleenex and toilet tissue. The poor things just seem to have no sense of the appropriate time or place to proselytize. They heap contumely upon themselves with their own silliness.

I guess its important to christians.

if your ever bored, look up john 6:6 verse 6.

Maybe it's just meant to encourage (or force...) "I saw it in the oddest place, just when I needed it most" moments.

Or maybe people think random places will help get others to convert.

I think it is a to the point example of how much God loves us and what he would do for us.

Because it is a great verse.

its generally the verse people use to promote salvation. so im sure thats why.
