Road racing in NASCAR

I'd like to see one added in the chase. I love road courses but Infineon Raceway is not one of my favorites. They are the greatest test of a driver's ability and a nice change of pace from their normal routine.

I enjoy the road races. Two may be enough, but if another was added, I would like to see them incorporate an oval. I have seen moto-gp races at Daytona where half the track is the road course and the other half is on the big track. Best of both worlds!

I think if you polled most of the drivers, they would be in favor of more races, but not anymore road races. I agree that there should be a road course in the chase. I also think that there should be only one race at each track and spread the rest of the dates out to many of the fine tracks acrossed the country. To answer your other question, Pocano is classified as a superspeedway at 2.5 miles, but I personally have never found either of its 2 races particularly exciting.

I don't like either of them. Road racing is for the IRL, American LeMans and F1. NASCAR is born from ovals, race on ovals, and lives on ovals. Half the drivers hate it, 1/4 of them like and the other 1/4 just deal with them. It's no fun having to get drivers out of their cars for the weekend and have some French guy no one has ever heard of replace them. I say get rid of road courses for good. Bring on the thumbs down.

I could do with two Sonoma's, but I dont like the Glenn. But I see why they would do away with them. The over all majority of NASCAR fans dont like road races. Personally im not one of them. I like them I agree they add diversity and you get to see new faces.

I actually like the road courses. I don't want to see more than 2, but the 2 they have are fine with me.

Keep the road races and add a dirt track or 2!

I agree with you. I just wish there wouldn't be so many ringers. If a guy is in Nationwide then bring him up, but to bring guys from totally different series is kind of ridiculous. Ron Fellows gets a pass though because he's actually good in a stock car.

Road Racing is Awesome. They should add some in the chase. It would really add to the excitement.

Road races are growing on me.. I did not like them at all at first, but every year I find myself becoming more excited about them. They should even possibly add one more.
