Auslandsjahr in Großbritannien- welche Möglichkeiten?
Hallo,
ich wollte mal wissen, welche Möglichkeiten es noch gibt, ein Auslandsjahr zu machen, außer Schüleraustausch und Au-Pair.
Ich habe mir überlegt, ein Auslandsjahr in Großbritannien zu machen, habe aber keine Ahnung, welche Möglichkeiten es noch gibt, außer Au-Pair und Austauschschüler.
Es sollte etwas mit Kindern zu tun haben, gerne auch körperlich und geistig behinderte, da ich mit solchen Menschen schon Erfahrungen habe. Die Dauer sollte max. 18 Monate, jedoch mindestens 6 Monate betragen, damit ich genügend Zeit habe, meine Englischkenntnisse noch zu intensivieren.
Vielleicht könnt ihr mir helfen.

Hi!
I think that the best option for you would be to look for a proper job in the UK. Why don't you ask at the nearest British Embassy or have a look at their German website?
I wouldn't recommend just going there and trying to find a job, it's far too risky, but if you could find a job (any job!) while you're in Germany and then move, you've got a good chance of finding another better job once you're there.
If you want to work with children, specially handicapped, you'll be asked for some specific qualifications.
Of course they're webistes like Monster where you can apply for jobs, but I think it's best to ask the embassy or at the German Unemployment Office (or similar) they've got programmes to find work in the EU and probably they can tell you about job openings in the UK.
