We have a debate on Cloning.. I would like to get a few ideas[Both for and against] about this topic.?

If making people is possible, we would lose the value we feel towards people. It would become an object and not a being with feelings. The clone would be treated differently and wouldn't have a happy life.

Pros: (in my opinion i guess)

- Parents that cannot have their own children have the opportunity to have children using strands of their own DNA

- Nervous system damage can be treated through cloning

- Cloning research is helping find new treatments and cures to various diseases and sicknesses

Cons

- Unethical

- Goes against several religious and personal beliefs

- The long term effects of a clone are still vague and lack a fully developed understanding

- Over population
