what do you think of the epidemic of AIDS/HIV in African countries... Was it caused by bio-scientist for?
population control. Or human tested bio-warfare

Hate to burst your bubble, but no it's not man made. It's easy to be suspicious when the subjects are complicated and beyond the normal educational level of most people, but after I found out I had HCV I read up quite a bit on virus', not that I have any expertise, but enough to get a basic understanding of those nasty little things.
The problem confronting the WHO in Africa is complex. There are old tribal customs in many cases that have been followed for years, but have never confronted anything like HIV. It is hard to get people to change something that has been their way of life, their grandparents way of life, and their ancestors way of life. This skepticism has allowed them to keep aspects of their culture over centuries. AIDS is a serious challenge to those old ways, convincing people of this isn't easy.
There are also many areas dealing with civil wars. There are many documented cases of rape being used to spread HIV between various groups. It's not pretty but in a way I guess it is being used by some as a low tech bio warfare weapon. War is never pretty, and as usual it's the non combatants that suffer the most.
Population control? Bio-warfare? Low tech basis, maybe, but Ebola, Marburgh's, and many others are all much more lethal and tend to burn themselves out because fatalities occur faster than it can spread. Anthrax lends itself to mutations that may make it unstoppable. AIDS just isn't specific enough in it's targeting to be used as you suggest.

Epidemics of sexually transmitted microbes are self inflicted by ignorance or carelessness. AIDS is almost completely preventable. No scientist would try to control populations using a preventable disease. The solution is very simple and it is not antiviral or antibacterial drugs. It is not good vaccines.
The solution lies in each of our minds. Know your partner(s). Take responsibility. How many jillions of dollars must we waste trying to cure a disease in people who absolutely will not make lifestyle changes to prevent it? It is like flushing dollars down the toilet and still having a full pot.
Unfortunately, the irresponsible folks often infect innocent spouses and children and for these folks ... we need treatment. Scientists are not nearly smart enough to create such a tricky virus and so far, this disease has drawn much of our valuable research money away from less preventable diseases.
Was sugar invented by scientists to make people fat and die of cardiac disease? Was tobacco invented by scientists to make wimpy folks take smoke breaks every few minutes? Was typhoid fever invented to make people take fewer foreign trips? Was it a scientist who invented body piercing and tatoos to help young kids get hepatitis and thus control that young population?
By the way ... just about every country is experiencing an AIDS epidemic ... not just African countries.
