How big can a wooden boat get?

Im sure you could as long as your reinforced it properly. You would just have to have a lot more support sections all over the place than you would say with a steel boat because the strength builds on itself. If you think about it you can't make a really thin steel boat so as any solid will work just more support is needed based on strength of material.

Also you obviously wouldn't have an engine etc. It would be quite impractical.

If we found a wooden boat that exactly matched up with the description in the Bible flood account, then that would be some compelling evidence that the story was true, since the probability of there being another boat from that time period that exact size is quite small. However, just any boat, even if it's evidence that there was some kind of massive flood (for instance, if it's far up the mountainside, proving that the water levels had risen), doesn't really prove anything. There are so many flood stories from that area, it could just as easily be Utnapishtim's boat as Noah's. Or Utnapishtim and Noah could both be the same person, interpreted through several generations of oral history.

probly but why the hell whould you want to if you take it out in the middle of the ocean the waves would tear the boat apart
