She's been my friend for a couple years but we've never really gone out. Now I'm goin out with her and our friend sam to see Hancock at the movies. I don't know if i'd want her as a GF or not yet cus we havn't spent enough time togther? Should i just hang out with em or maybe treat it like a date?

you shuld decide when you get there, if it is going really well, and you decide you like her enuff, and she is showing signs of wanting you to make a move, then by all means, go for it. but you cant decide how the date is gonna go until ur there.
