Holidays in the Maritimes?

In 4-6 weeks you should easily be able to see all the major attractions (and scenic views!) in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and PEI, many more than the towns you mentioned. But I think you will find you need that time to really see the character of each place and all there is to do - cafes, local theatre and concerts, beaches, parks, walking trails, museums, etc. etc.

If you want to go more west, you could, but it would depend on exactly how many small towns you wanted to visit in the maritimes and how much driving you want to do. It takes approximately 10 hours driving, depending on where you start, to make it to Quebec City for example, although I don't find that drive nearly as pretty as what you'd see along the shoreline of the East Coast, as nice as Quebec City is!

You could easily see a lot in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.

4-6 weeks in the maritimes sounds heavenly! I'm so jealous (my husband is from PEI and when I can get off for several weeks he can only get one week off and vice versa.)

There is so much to do in Atlantic Canada, with towns on major highways you would get to see the vast majority of major interests in the time you have mentioned. I traveled via car in the maritimes and newfoundland for my business.

Easy; skip the tourist attractions and fill your boots.
