Antivirus causing problems connecting on the net?
Has anyone else had trouble with Trend antivirus.
I can't get on the web when it is loaded.
It started off ok when first installed, but the last 4 weeks it's been a fair b --- h. Trend have been worse than hopeless helping. Please help, I love computer geeks!!!

hi justjan, some of these answers are funny listen to me hit start>settings>control panel go to add/remove icon and uninstall your virus protection. then watch it remove then reboot when it is done now lets do another trick i have up my sleeve when you see your system logo start tapping f8 you will come to a safe mode screen scrol down to last my system worked correctly and let it reboot now when you are at your desktop again put in your virus protection make sure it's up to date and reinstall it make sure you have a virus protection that you register that is your protection when thats done look at your modem is the second light lit? if it is go online if it isn't then either remove it and reinstall it or call your internet provider but i bet money your problem is solved so good luck hope i have been helpful to you

Antivirus is like mother caring for its child not to get sick or something. Thats why he wont give you get to internet. You can: OR delete it and get some else OR get down a little bit the criteries of your antivirus system.
