How many End of the World Predictions are out there?

There are so many aren't there? There are so many nutters hanging around, completely crazy. The main problem is, is that when they've been proved wrong about their end of the world predictions they claim that god or whoever they follow decided to spare them instead of destroy, and so just adds fuel to the fire. No one is going to admit that they are wrong, are they?

well i remember predictions for: 1997, 2000, 2001, 2012.

and thats just in the last 15 years ^^

The have been predicting this event since AD 1844

or the year AH 1260 in the Muslim calender

They are now planning the next end of the world day, for me the world ends about Mid July, after i have had my tea and cup cakes!!
