What Moral or Legal Right do We have to tell a Girl 13-17 that she cannot have sex.?

Not a right, but a moral responsibility for parents to protect their daughters from teen sex simply because she should save herself for the right man when she grows up. You can't control your teenager's sex drive, but she can - only through proper teachings at home or at church.

You can't control the uncontrollable. Thats the first thing to understand.

You could try the controlling step which is not allowing any boys over at the house, or allowing her to go out on weekends, and don't allow her to take birth control. If she is on the pill, make sure that stops. It causes cancer anyway.. Thats one option. Another thing you can do is have a talk with her stating that if she gets pregnant, shes out. No screwing around at my place. You gotta be open to how you feel about this. Assuming things without the facts can be extremely dangerous.

Morally, it is not right to engage in sex at this age Cox you are still young and still a teen. Are you ready to take on the responsibilities of a mother at this tender age. i believe you have to go through high school at this stage, then to college then settle for a job. Sweety there is time for everything just as God created seasons so the season for this age group to engage in sex is yet to reach. engage in things that are resourceful to your life. when you reach the right age you will have sex on many occasions as you may wish i.e at the right time.
