Christians, about prayer?

Hi,I pray all through the day. Mostly my prayers are conversations with the Lord much like I'm talking to you now. I always pray in Jesus' name. I try to remember to tell the Father how thankful I am for all the blessings in my life as well as pray for the needs of others and myself. I know He desires the relationship of His children not unlike our earthly parents do or how we want to with the ones we love. I occasionally use prayer lists. they can be helpful. I use the Lords prayer as an example of prayer, by honoring God first and then going into what needs praying over. I have also found that praying through the psalms is an excellent way to pray. You basically read a psalm and let it speak to you and the situation, you will find it amazing

Personally, I pray at any time, and I believe that you don't need a certain kind of technique or style to talk to God. I just pray like I was talking to anyone else-- it's all about your heart, not exactly the words. :) I hope that helps.

Just pray a simple child like prayer in humbleness of attitude, confessing you are a sinner to God. Accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. He will come to live in your heart and change your heart so you no longer want to sin.

As to prayer, I go with whatever seems to be right at the time....definitely no technique here, lol Starting the moment I awaken I DO always say thankyou God, Thankyou Jesus, Praise you God, Praise you Jesus, then, have my prayers for family and self as soon after I awaken as possible. [Run to bathroom before oldest daughter gets in there and takes her morning shower before work...otherwise....bodily urges may keep me from praying if I have to wait :)]

After that, prayer is random throughout day. :) I pray about almost everyone and everything...from a "quickie" prayer to a long prayer in tongues... I guess you can say I talk to God the way I am talking to you right now...although I DO tend to call HIM "Father", and I thank Him for answers even before I say " in the Name of Jesus Christ Your (His) only Begotten Son, Amen"

I don't understand the process of violations. Last one I got was for giving a link to a very trustworthy and clean site for people to get hep with comp questions and software. Thought that's what we are to do...help people. But, Yahoo evidently don't want people to go to other dimensions in the cyber world but want you to stick to them. :) (Don't ya think they should have stated that clearly in rules of site? "Thou will only send people to links associated with Yahoo only...and not to one that is a competitor of Yahoo" (?) :)

when you pray always start by thanking god for things like

friends or family thins that your thankful for.then ask him to help you with your problem then say what you want to say

before you eat ask him to bless the food your about to eat

and the person who made it then a simple /amen\. before

you sleep,when you wake up or when you get a chance

remember if you have a child your there influence...hope this helped your question

God can always hear you. I pray silently many times a day. To thanks Him for my blessings and to pray for the future.

well we pray when bad things happen and ask god to help you through it. pray before every meal. at church , and bed

just simply speak from the heart as you would your very best friend(since He should be)!
