Poem, is it me--is it you?

Question

I just told a 13 year old who wrote a pretty darn good poem it inspired me to share one myself.  Wrote this just yesterday.

Quasi aquaintances, for them that seek
Isolated dream, come take a peek

Casting an eye, which way shall it go
Don't walk too fast, don't move too slow

Let's run to the top, for the bottom is low
We'll catch a thrill, it's all for show

Life is for dreamers, come dream a dream
hop on board, float upstream 

The spell has been cast, walk on through
The mirror is talking, is it me-is it you

It was so... I can't even find a word.
That was really something.

I really Like,

I don't really know if I understand the poem I guess its talking about that everybody on this earth has a calling/ a dream go ahead and climb to the top of the mountain go on through for there is something else on the other side something better. 
" The mirror is talking, is ti me-is it you" din't really get that part, also you say " Don't walk too FAST, don't move to slow" then you continue by saying " Let's RUN to the top" but it did rhyme dough lol

-This poem is deep inside itself and i'm not sure that the poeple who are reading it can digest the whole idea.I think if it's clearly spoken it would be more comprehendable to readers of all ages.
