Make a paste of oxiclean and rub it on and let it sit. Then rinse it and scrub with detergent and rinse. Let it dry completely in the sun before you put it away. That should take care of it.

It's for the baby, so I wouldn't want to use harsh chemicals. The poor kid might develop allergies or worse, lung problems.

Mold is quite dangerous. Only thing that kills the bacteria is Chlorine which you can easily get from clorox and such bleach. Clean it with a bleach mix and let the hot day sun rays kill it. The colors may fade. Be sure the rinse it well and dry in the sun again. Babies suck on everything.

I strongly suggest throwing the darn thing away and buying a new one or at least one from a thrift store or charity store.

Wash with a bleach solution and sit in the sun to dry and air out.

Wash it with vinegar and next time store it with some baking soda
