Please help! How do you find out your pass code on your ipod?
My nephew was visiting and my son played with his Ipod and locked it by accident and we do not know the number that was used. Is there a way to find out the code without loosing all the music?

All you have to do is plug it into your computer and open up itunes and it automatically unlocks your iPod. I believe you can also reset the code in itunes as well.

How to recover Screenlock Passcode without restoring your iPod
1.Plug the iPod in computer.
2.Go to "My Computer" And click the apporiate drive to your your iPod.
3.Change the folder option to "View all hidden files and folders"
4.Navigate to ipod_control
5.Then go to Device
6.Then there is a file there named"_Unlocked"
7.Open that up with a text editor (Notepad) and voila the passcode is right there.

Another option (maybe easier) is to connect the IPOD to Itunes & clear the "locked' status from there

I don't think there is a way to do it without losing all the music. Um.. you can reset it and just sync your ipod again to your Itunes. Losing all your music can be fixed by syncing.

no you will have to send it to apple but they will have your music still on it
