in what sort of positions can an iud be felt?
i'm thinking of getting one but if it negatively interferes with intercourse......

If the strings are too long then it's possible (although unlikely) that your partner will be able to feel them in teh first week or so after insertion until they soften up and retract up against the cervix. Most doctors will cut the strings short enough that this doesn't happen tho. And other than that, the IUD cannot be felt by either person, in any position.

an IUD, properly inserted, can never be felt by either person during intercourse.
