Law and Order how many are there and when did they appear?
I am doing reasearch for a paper I am writing about cameras in the courtroom, and I am try to compare the courtroom drama to real trial cases. i am having a problem finding a article i can cite as a source that tells me this information.

Law and Order there are 3/4....
The "original"...Law & Order first aired 1990
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit 1999
Law & Order: Criminal Intent 2001
Law & Order: Trial By Jury 2005---cancelled. The shows are "based" on actual cases with some creative license, for instance the episode Chevy Chase guest-starred in as an anti-Semitic murder suspect inspired by Mel Gibson's arrest for drunk driving. Robin Williams guest-starred as a guy that had been calling around fast food resturants, pretending to be a police officer and telling the manager to strip search an employee.
