Otherwise, the implication of "really" as in "do you really believe Jesus is a God?" would betray a fundamental disrespect for Christians and our beliefs. It's as if you are saying, "How could you be so stupid as to actually think...?"

This kind of talk is not pleasing to the God of the Christians and the God of the Muslims--one and the same God--regardless of whether it is a Christian or a Muslim doing the talking. God loves all His children--and He loves harmony between them.

Yes, I do. Its not exactly like that though, He is not A God He is the son of THE God and yes I do believe, because I have seen what the Lord can do. There are things in this life that are to big for us to go at alone. The proof question is hard to answer unless you have experienced it, but I can tell you that faith in the Lord is NOT supposed to be easy. Its supposed to be a struggle, the Lord will test you. Some people wonder why the Lord makes bad things happen to us and I don't believe he does, I believe he lets bad things happen to us to see if we will draw close to Him. I have a hard time believing everyone is so confused? All you have to do is read the Gospels? Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and the Book OF Mormon? What do they say? That Mary was told she was going to be the mother of Jesus? Right So who was going to be the Father? God right? So that made Jesus half man and half God. He lived for 33 years on this earth and some people didn't like him so they Crucified him Right? Before that happened he went into the garden and took the sins of the world upon him. He was raise from the dead the 3rd Day. How could he do that? HE WAS A GOD. And since He was resurrected we all will be every last man & woman of us. He lives today and will return soon.

Yes I do believe they are one and the same!! Why?? because I've studies the Bible and this is my understanding of what is said! I wasn't taught this as a child up I was taken to a Church of Christ the 1st 5 yrs of my life. Then when I got old enough to walk to church I went to the Baptist and as a teenager I went to a Baptist church. From 16 - 32 I seldom went anywhere then for 20 yrs I went to a Pentecostal Church. It has only been the last 2 & 1/2 yrs that I gave my heart, soul, mind and body to God. That's when I really started to understand what I was reading. Who you describe are self-rightious pios people they are NOT true Christians. The Bible called them for what they are and they weren't of Him!! Oh, I still go to a Pentecostal Church just a different one!!

No, I do not believe Jesus to be A God, I believe that in some way He is God, though I do not understand God's being. I believe Jesus is a portion of God because I believe the Bible. There is no proof the Bible is correct nor incorrect. I have faith that He is God and existing as God's right hand - so to speak.

The proof is yet to come whether He exists or if He does not exist. The order of the universe shows the appearance of a being more intellectual than we are to be formed so totally awesome.

As for me, I choose to believe by faith and hope in Him. All anyone can do is faith, trust and hope whether they believe He is or is not God or if a god even exists. Regardless of who you are, you have faith one way or the other.

I have said this over and over again. To me the question of God's existence is a non-issue. Let me give one example. Yesterday I preached a sermon. It was emotionally charged because it had to do with this country and the soon approaching return of Jesus. Someone actually got up and started yelling at me and saying that they couldn't listen to me slander our country(even though I had only stated facts about laws passed and the suspension of Habeas Corpus and such) I felt completely at ease. I am not a brave individual, but I tell you what. I truly felt the power of the Holy Spirit. I have never felt so confident and so at peace in the face of direct opposition before. That event actually proved the point of my sermon, and the way things went actually enhanced what I was saying. God spoke through me, and I know for a fact that He used me. I wish I could email you my audio file of the sermon, but it is too big. The feeling of being directly used by God is addictive. Having the power to fearlessly proclaim the truth is so awesome. I can now understand why Paul and Silas sang in prison. To me, God is not hypothetical. He is more real than the words on this screen. If you don't know God, get to know Him. You will never EVER regret it.

I believe Jesus was a very important person and probably a wise prophet and he might have even been the son of God, I don't really know but I do know that there is a God. It's not something one can prove to another, it's something they have to discover for themselves. It's a journey and a choice.

It appears you have enough to read, but two cents is two cents. It depends on what perspective you're coming from. Jesus Himself said he was God and we see in Scripture He often acted and spoke from a dual nature (theantropos) meaning both man and God. The purpose of His presence on earth was to lay down the deity portion and experience humanity in its fullness, yet He did indeed do and say things from a standpoint of Godhood. Miracles which have been recorded not only from Scripture but by the historians of the day.

And so we see that if one operates from the standpoint of fundamentally believing what Christ said, what the apostles said then yes Jesus was both man and God while upon earth. However, if one does not believe in these things then of course they would reject His deity and consider him to be relegated to just a good person and a teacher.
