Believers only?
Have you ever had a atheist or non believer go to your church to mock and ridicule? Is it that they have better things to do on a Sunday morning ( or whatever day) than get up and share their non excitement for their unbeliefs? Why do you think they spend their hours mocking others if they were so secure in their own beliefs? If they only knew what we experienced about the saving power of Jesus Christ and the pure love that comes over you, when you accept Him into your heart. Then they would understand why we share the good news of our belief that JESUSE LIVES.

Hey I'm glad when they come to church because they get to hear more of the truth. Jesus said he came for the sick so I say let them all in. Truth be told they are more likely to hear it in church because most Christians never go out and share the gospel. So if we don't go out to find them I am glad when they come to find us. Jesus had mockers around him all the time and He used that time to do the will of the Father and speak the word to them and all that were there. Creation itself speaks of the Creator and it says that the law of God was given to the hearts of man. So even unbelievers know right from wrong. Unfortunately the bible says that many will deny him even in the end they would rather have the rocks crush them then cry out to God. So if they mocked Jesus back then they will keep mocking him until His return. I just pray that they all come to the saving knowledge of Christ and receive the gift of grace that is offered to all of us.

I've never heard of such a thing happening.
I don’t seek out people to mock. You asked the question on a public forum. I assume you want the answer.
I don't need saving.
I not only know pure love, but real love. I don't have to pretend my imaginary friend loves me.
I've been a Christian. (Yes, a real and sincere Christian.) I have experienced the total delusion and the comfort that comes with it. It is BS. You are living a lie and I suspect you already know it. You evangelize because you are trained to.
I am excited about my lack of beliefs. It wasn't easy to shake off the indoctrination.
Typing in all caps, "Jesus lives", isn't exactly the mark of a man secure in his beliefs either, dear.

sorry i know you set this question for believers only but that's an invite to an atheist.
I think no one should mock anyone else's religion/non religion or force their religious beliefs or non beliefs on anyone else including 'spreading the word of god' .I'm quite sure that believing in any religion has its benefits to the believer but not perhaps to the people who have deal with the consequences of other peoples beliefs on their lives of any religion. Being gay or not deciding to believe in a god for your own reasons should not stop you having the same rights as anyone else.

In fact, several years ago during the middle of Mass one Sunday, A man dressed only in short shorts, walked in and stood in front of the sanctuary. When our Priest ignored him and continued on with the consecration, he looked disappointed turned and walked out. Several of the men in the congregation were prepared to stop him if were to attack the priest but, nothing happened. Tribute to our pastor for not becoming distracted.

I have never heard of, or ever seen anyone go into a church and disturb the congregation by mockery. Methinks you're very good at generalising, or assuming that because atheists have a good time on this forum, that they may carry it out into a church for sh!ts and giggles. You would be wrong.

Man, for a Christian you are one angry dude, and all to happy to point fingers. I've gone to churches and youth groups at friends requests (during junior high and high school). I listened respectfully, took it in and made my own decision - no sale. If asked to support my feelings on it privately, I would.
Funny, I've never had an atheist bang on my door and harass me about my belief system, but I have had a number of Christians do that.
Also, you might want to spell check the way you typed in your saviour's name, by the way...the way you typed it in, it reads "Je-Zeus".

I still don't understand why atheists have problems with beleivers. They continually carry on and say prove there is a God. Well quite frankly I don't have to. I chose to believe and if anyone has a problem with it, then too bad. What I think is that when an athiest continually goes on and on it only proves that most likely they are not atheist and are searching for their own spiritality.

"Have you ever had an atheist or non believer go to your church to mock and ridicule?"
No, have you and are you able to present proof that this actually happened?
I doubt it.
Can I provide proof that some Christians go out of their way to mock and ridicule the beliefs of others?
Absolutely.

Including Christians disrupting the church services of other Christians.

In my experience, people go to church because they're looking for something. Outwardly they may be ridiculing, but inwardly they're watching. And they're looking for something. Most of the time, they're looking for acceptance, sometimes they're looking for answers, sometimes something else entirely. Either way, the best thing the church can do is simply show them love, and share the truth.

I can honestly say as a non-believer (in your terms) that I have never been so bored that I would take time from my sunday morning to taunt the sheep. I've never KNOWN anyone that would expend that much energy (especially on a sunday morning....those are prime sleeping hours).
