You say God has done things for you? We have the principle that in 'this' universe God Above God is powerless, whilst God is all powerful. God being a lower or bebased form of God Above God, or God and God Above God being completely different.

Knowledge of ourselves is more important then acknowledging a god or diety. People could assume and come to see that there are many dieties, but the serious seeker of the truth is to ignore all distractions.

You do as you please and I do as I think that I should be doing. There is a Nazorean phase: Good is the Good to the Good.

Do you also praise the Lord for the things that are going wrong in your life too? We need challenges in life too. When the going gets rough, do you praise the Lord, then, too? Do you say "Thank you, God, For sending me rain."? You may not like the rain, but the animals and plants thirst for it?

Just asking... just curious. No offense... I'm Catholic. I must try to remember to praise the Lord for my challenges too! I find that a lot of people spend time praising the Lord when things are going good in their life... but they forget to say "Thank you" to God for their Life when things are not going so good. as if saying that their burdens are too much to bear? Jesus carried his own cross! And he DIED for our sins! That must take a lot of work! We should always be grateful! We should always be praising him!

PS. I definitely agree that people need balance in their life (between internet play, work, reading the Bible, exersize and food, the key is balance, not overindulgence...) However, I did want to point out that .... It may not be a complete waste of time to hang out in YA! if People on YA are seeking answers to their questions with an open mind. Perhaps you can help these people with a Bible verse that pertains to their situation? If you could get a few non-believers to rethink their "beliefs" and study the Bible... it would be worthwhile, wouldn't your time spendt on YA be worth it?

I think many spend to much time on here than outside in the lovely sunshine. Yep it is okay by the way. As long as you obey God and respect the R&S rules:

Remember what Jesus said about giving to God what belongs to God and to Ceasar what belongs to Ceasar. Same with respecting God & R&S rules.

Do what you wish, as long as it doesn't rob anyone else of free will.

I follow no religion and so I need no book or word of God as scribed by man.

I have the trees, the air in my lungs, the grass under my feet, the wonderful people I meet and so forth.

It'd be ok with me if you followed your pet dog as god. So long as you do not:

a. try to push your beliefs onto others,

b. condemn anyone who does not follow your beliefs, or

c. otherwise hurt another being

your religion (whatever you may choose) is ok.
