Just for fun or mindless vandalism?
What does anyone else think about the water fight which made a complete mess of the Millenium Square fountain in Leeds city centre? I notice that only three of these selfish people have so far volunteered to "assist" in repairing the area.
Should this have been stopped by Facebook? Should the individuals involved be tracked down and forced to pay for the damage? There's enough video evidence to catch every one of them.
What do you think?
The square has been left a mess with plants trodden down / ripped up. There has been a big to do about all of this on the news and in the Leeds media.
This area has only been complete for a few years having undergone a complete renovation.

I am totally appalled by the whole shenanigans, and even more appalled that the organisers want to do it all again.
Those that area responsible for the damage should be made to put right - both in their time, and financially.

Just watched it on you tube , seemed like harmless fun , the square was made to make people happy , the people there looked happy , cant comment on the damage as did not see any apart from a wet walkway
