Not a "god"
He IS God!
Well-what do we k now about the character of God?
First-being God, He is worthy of being worshiped.
Was Jesus ever worshipped?
Well, we have this:
Matthew 2:11 (New International Version)
11On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh.
The wise men, recognized who Jesus was!
And we have this:
Matthew 28:8-10 (New International Version)
8So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. 10Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me."
Here was the man they knew, risen from the grave. Who wouldn't believe that He was God, after seeing something like this?
And we have this:
Luke 24:50-52 (New International Version)
50When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them. 51While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven. 52Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.
And we have this:
John 9:30-38 (New International Version)
30The man answered, "Now that is remarkable! You don't know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes. 31We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly man who does his will. 32Nobody has ever heard of opening the eyes of a man born blind. 33If this man were not from God, he could do nothing."
34To this they replied, "You were steeped in sin at birth; how dare you lecture us!" And they threw him out.
35Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and when he found him, he said, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?"
36"Who is he, sir?" the man asked. "Tell me so that I may believe in him."
37Jesus said, "You have now seen him; in fact, He is the one speaking with you."
38Then the man said, "Lord, I believe," and he worshiped him.
In every instance, Jesus was recognized as God, by the poeple who encountered Him The people wouldn't worship anyone who wasn't. It was by simple faith, that they KNEW who he was.
Then we have Jesus making these statements
John 8:58 (New International Version)
58"I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!"
Here we have Jesus saying that He is pre-existant. Only God could be pre-existant!
And we have this:
John 10:30-33 (New International Version)
30I and the Father are one."
31Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, 32but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?"
33"We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God."
Jesus is claiming equal standing with the Father-He is claiming that He is God!
Then we have Jesus making THESE statements:
John 6:35
35Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.
John 6:48
48I am the bread of life.
Here we see Jesus offering things that only God can offer. Since he offers these things, He is saying that He is GOD!
And we have this:
John 10:7-10 (New International Version)
7Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.[a] He will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
Jesus is saying that only through HIM, can anyone have eternal life. Who else but God could offer this?
And we have this:
John 13:12-14 (New International Version)
12When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. "Do you understand what I have done for you?" he asked them. 13"You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet.
Jesus calls Himself LORD. This a title reserved for God! he is saying He is God!
Then we have this:
John 14:11 (New International Version)
11Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves.
Here Jesus is claiming equality with the Father!
And we have this:
[i]John 15:1-8 (New International Version)
1"I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. 3You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
5"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. 8This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
Here Jesus is claiming equality with the Father, by saying that HE is the source of life for all those who choose to believe in Him.
And we have this
John 16:5-10 (New International Version)
5"Now I am going to him who sent me, yet none of you asks me, 'Where are you going?' 6Because I have said these things, you are filled with grief. 7But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt[a] in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: 9in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me; 10in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer;
Jesus doesn't say the Father will send the Holy Spirit-He says that HE will send the Holy Spirit. Only God could do something like this!
Now THIS is interesting:
John 18:5-6 (New International Version)
5"Jesus of Nazareth," they replied.
"I am he," Jesus said. (And Judas the traitor was standing there with them.) 6When Jesus said, "I am he," they drew back and fell to the ground.
Now WHY would they fall to the ground? Here were armed soldiers, against an unarmed man, & yet the presence of who Jesus was, & just His words, causes them to fall to the ground. if Jesus WASN'T God, do you think that these soldiers would have done that? We see all through the Bible, people CANNOT stand in the presence of God! Just like they couldn't stand in the presence of God in the flesh!
Finally, we have all the miracles of Jesus:
The man with leprosy-Matthew 8:1-4, Marrk 1:40, 44, Luke 5:12-14
Roman centurions servant-Matthew 8:5-13, Luke 7:1-10
Peter's mother in law-Matthew 8:14-17, Mark 1:29-31, Luke 4:38-39
2 dermon possesssed men-Matthew 8:28-34
Paralyzed man-Matthew 9:1-8, Mark 2:1-12, Luke 5:17-26
I could go on & on.
Who else BUT God could do all these miracles?
God.
Who is Jesus?
God in the Flesh.

I'm going to enable for the probability that English to your moment language, and now not be angered via your query. Otherwise, the implication of "particularly" as in "do you particularly think Jesus is a God?" could betray a principal disrespect for Christians and our ideals. It's as though you're announcing, "How might you be so dull as to truthfully consider...?" This style of speak isn't gratifying to the God of the Christians and the God of the Muslims--one and the identical God--without reference to whether or not this can be a Christian or a Muslim doing the speaking. God loves all His kids--and He loves concord among them. I can't rewrite historical past and dispose of the Crusades, any longer than you'll be able to difference one of the vital hateful movements of faulty Muslims. We can simplest attempt to admire each and every different. As God desires. I have spotted that many Muslims have a unsuitable knowledge of the Christian proposal of the Holy Trinity. There is one God--God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. His title is God or Dieu or Dios or Gott or Allah--relying what language you talk. Not 3 Gods. Please do a little Internet study at the Holy Trinity, to support you to bigger realise our religion. Asking if Jesus is a God is like asking if a fender is a vehicle. Go in peace, brother, to like and serve God.

Yes I do believe they are one and the same!! Why?? because I've studies the Bible and this is my understanding of what is said! I wasn't taught this as a child up I was taken to a Church of Christ the 1st 5 yrs of my life. Then when I got old enough to walk to church I went to the Baptist and as a teenager I went to a Baptist church. From 16 - 32 I seldom went anywhere then for 20 yrs I went to a Pentecostal Church. It has only been the last 2 & 1/2 yrs that I gave my heart, soul, mind and body to God. That's when I really started to understand what I was reading.
Who you describe are self-rightious pios people they are NOT true Christians. The Bible called them for what they are and they weren't of Him!! Oh, I still go to a Pentecostal Church just a different one!!

Jesus was not God. Jesus was Jewish, and in Judaism there
is no such a thing as a man being born of God with a human. That's possible only in Greek Mythology and in other forms of Paganism.
Besides, the idea that Jesus was God was brought by Paul about 30 years after Jesus' death. That was a
surprise even to the Apostles of Jesus who had never heard of such a thing about Jesus.
The first time Paul visited Jerusalem and started preaching around that Jesus was God,
the Jews almost killed him. The Nazarenes never accepted him even as a disciple. They urgently got him back to Tarsus where he belonged.

Jesus is not a God. Accordng to Christians (that would be me), Jesus is the manner in which God chose to manifest Himself to us.
Muslims, on the other hand (you sound like one, by the way) believe that God chose to manifest Himself to us through His Holy Book, the Koran.
This difference in theology has lead some Muslim people to think that we Christians are polytheistic. This is not so. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are ONE GOD, and He has no name.
Allah has no name. "Allah" is Arabic for "God".
I hope I have explained my faith that Jesus is a manifestation of God, not a "stand alone" God. I understand the Muslim belief that God is all-powerful (we Christians agree) and that He needs no help from anyone (we Christians agree).
I hope that Muslims also agree that God's work must sometimes be done by human hands. This happens when we show love and charity and mercy to others, including those who have offended us and harmed us.
Peace be upon you, my brother. We are not so far apart, and God loves us both.

Christianity is a monothestic religion. The belief in one God, not one God with many different forms but one God. If indeed Jesus and God are the same beings, why would Jesus pray to himself and call himself father. It would be confusing, why would God want to confuse us? I did not know that God could die, what would be the purpose of him sacrificing himself for our sins. He could have just blotted them out.
Quelle(n): A little common sense. - vor 1 Jahrzehnt
I never in my adult life have believed Jesus was God. I do believe in God so don't get me wrong. I believe Jesus was one of the most important prophet that ever lived. I once had a spiritual reading, and was told that Jesus came to give me a message. He told me that there are no mistakes in life, only life lessons. No I was not dreaming.

God is real. and the Bible is my proof
and how do you think the earth was made if there wasn't a creator?
and God sacrificed so much for us, even his Son! do you know anyone that loves you that much?
and non- Christians say that we Christians act like we are better than them and some of us do, but alot of us know that you are a Christian because you believe God is real and that you sin and non- Christiands say that we act like we don't sin and we do!!!! everybody sins!

Did jesus claimed to be god?
Did he said "I am God" or "Worship me!"?
No. Jesus is not God
And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone. (Mark 10:18)
"And about the ninth hour Jesus gave a loud cry, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is, My God, my God, why are you turned away from me? (matthew 27:46)"
-how come god turned away from jesus if they are one?
Jesus answered, "The foremost is, 'HEAR, O ISRAEL! THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD; (Mark 12:29)
"To you it was shown that you might know that the LORD, He is God; there is no other besides Him. (Deuteronomy 4:35)
"Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one! (Deuteronomy 6:4)
Jesus said : OUR GOD

theres no way im reading all that
but
i dont believe in god
no proof of him
anything that cant be proven is put into religion
and everytime a miracle happens like, a child that has a low chance of living survives, they say god helped them or whatever, yet every time a child dies, where is god now?
or like a ex alcoholic would say they would always be drinking, then one night they saw god and talked to him and changed his life, but no one ever takes into the account that he was probably drunk at the time when he 'saw god'
- Anonymvor 1 Jahrzehnt
Absolutley YES i believe in Jesus being a God! There is proof in the Bible! All the miracles that he preformed. And who the hell would make that up?
