everyone who is diabetic!?

Please, take care of yourself and especially your feet. My husband is in hosp. has congestive heart failure because he could barely walk because of neuropathy. Two toes are dead, one is gone--because of complications--he has been given at the most 2mos to live, but they don't expect him to last more than 2 wks.

thanks to everyone who has sent me answers. I sent email to your sister. I hope she reads it and understands just how much you love her.

Update 2:

UPDATE: George died this morning from the complications of diabetes. Please, please take care of yourself.

    I'm sorry to hear about your husband.

    My father is a diabetic too. He was recently in the hospital because his blood sugar got over 500 and he lost part of his eye sight due to lack of oxygen to his brain. He is also having problems with his balance. It is very important to take care of yourself when you have diabetes.

    The sadest part of it is that I am pregnant with his first grandchild and he won't be able to see him.

    I am so sorry, I am a diabetic and this disease is awful. My feet and legs burn like they are on fire most of the time. The food you have to eat is terrible.

    we all pray that he recovers to whatever extent possible.

    these kind of cases should serve as an eye opener to those people who do not take care of their diet exercises or medicines inspite of having diabetes.

    I LOST MY MOM TO TYPE 1 DIABETES IN 86 (i was 16)..AS SHE WAS 34.

    I HAD GESTATIONAL DIABETES.....BUT MY FASTINGS KEEP COMING BACK UNDER 100...THANK GOD.
