Shimmy on 95 Dodge Caravan?

Vehicle is a 95' Caravan 3.3 with 4spd auto. Both CV Shafts were replaced 4 years ago. 2 weeks ago vehicle had complaint of shimmy when turning right at any speed or going straight ahead at over 45mph. No shimmy turning left. Replaced Right CV axle and both lower ball joints. Shimmy disappeared. Yesterday vehicle came back with same complaint. Replaced Right CV shaft and shimmy disappeared - for about 10 miles. Replaced the CV shaft again with a different brand (all reman) and this time shimmy was still there. Suspension, bearings are tight, tires are excellent (balanced, no ply-sep), motor mounts show no excessive movement or damage, struts are relatively new. Thoughts?

There is a procedure in the service manual for adjusting the motor mounts to obtain the proper positioning of the engine and in turn the cv shafts. Loosen the two bolts secruring the r/h motor mount to the frame. The holes in the mount are slotted. Use a prybar to shift the motor one way or the other and test drive it. The other mounts are floating mounts so you only have to adjust the one. Good luck.

What is the Condition of the Shock/Struts? Check Front Tires again, Does it take more then 1 1/2 Ounces to balance the Tire? Yes! If the Van has Mag or Aluminum wheels, Remover Tires and Balance Rims Only the Mount tires and Balance Again, what Do you see? You might want to Physically Inspect the Bearings, Clean and Repack. Also check Power Steering Pump Condition & Fluid. Steering Box Mounts & Condition. Condition of "A" Arm Bushings & Tie-Rod Ends.
