In the month of May,
during the second week,
It would be Mother's Day.

Mother's Day comes once a year,
this is your day to celebrate,
Soon Mother's Day will be here.

Mother's Day is not the same date
although each year I worry
that I will be late.

I wrote this poem for someone special
just in case there is any doubt 
It is for someone thoughtful.

Along with 3 words

Your hands show you've worked til' morn
The wrinkles of dried tears you've cried 
That precious day I was born

Your gray hairs show I've worried you
Your slow sighs show I was a bug
But your kisses have melted away winter hurt

So the world I can yet see
Your screaming and agony birth process
Made me who I became to be
