I would like to set up a Yahoo Groups Database?

Question

To log group activities by day so I would need 12 collums and 31 rows but looks like I can only have ten collums. I did make up a exel spreadsheet and uploaded it as a shared workbook but I still cannot alter entries after it has been uploaded. So does anyone know how I can track members activities in such a way that members can update the sheets themselves.

ive always added my own questions in data base, like, movies you like, your birthdays & phone numbers,  foods you like & hobbies you like, that way, members can go in & see who they are & get to know them a little by that.
