Is the Iraq war really worth your tax dollars?

About 500bn USD spent on the war in Iraq (not the combinded cost of other anti-terror missions) - was the money really well spent on "national security"? Wouldn't it be way cheaper to give everyone a M4 and secure the border for a fraction of those expenses?

no the war isn't worth it, but I watch alot of news and was told that saudi arabia wanted us off their land and we wanted to keep a presence in the middle east and which country was the easiest to take over, yes iraq and along with it being the 2 nd most oil rich country, why not.

I don't believe we had a right to just go in and take someones country over as we did and now all the politicians lie to us telling us he had wmd or he was bad, there alot of worse countires than iraq and we didn't take them over,

lots of politics involved that we don't know and will never know about.

It's not a war because there is no objective that would constitute a victory. And no, it's a waste of money.
