N95 and Windows Vista Basic?

I'm trying to install Nokia PC Suite onto my laptop which has Vista Basic on it. I have installed the software but when i try to connect my phone, it goes through the installing device drivers stage then will not actually connect the phone. Anyone out there know what could be causing this?

    Are you sure you are using the latest version of the suite? If your phone came with a CD with the Nokia PC Suite on, then it may not be compatible with Vista.

    Try downloading the latest from the Nokia website here:
