Would a DA demand me having other representation beside myself if he were confident of his case?

I felt I was doing very well from the wonderful advise I have recieved from my leagl eagles.  But he (the Dep DA) put in a request and won, stating he did not feel I was aware of the full extent of my 470B.  You are right, one of the persons that broke into my father's home, had just finished his felony jail time--and was on parole at the time he broke into my father's home.  Are felons on parole allowed to leave the state without their parole officer's permission?  Again, thank you.  I have been telling how great you have been to me. Sincerely.

I give kudos to the prosecuting attorney on this.  He is definitely following the book, crossing the t's and dotting the i's.  Unfortunately for you, this means that if you do not get competent counsel IMMEDIATELY, you will be screwed!  The prosecution is telegraphing his moves perfectly and is well on the way to preventing any opportunity for any real chance of a successful appeal.  This indicates to me that he believes that he has a strong case against you.

In answer to your question regarding felons on parole - they are not allowed to leave the state without their parole officer's permission.  If he is a significant part of your defense, you've got problems.  He will be an easy mark for the prosecution to discredit on the stand.

I thank you for your praise for my little contribution (there were others with excellent points and advice, too), but this forum is only good for general information, not for putting together a criminal defense!  PLEASE, get competent legal representation now!  Even the public defender's office, such as they are, can make some kind of payment plan with you if you don't qualify for free representation...  Although I would personally recommend a defense attorney in private practice.  Your freedom is necessary to keep your job, which is necessary to keep up the house payments, which is necessary if you want to keep your house, etc.

but yeah even if he was confident he would want you to get a lawyer so you couldn't get the case kicked latter because you didn't have representation
