I am thinking about visiting Punta Cana, Dominican Republic in mid May...how's the weather then?

We normally have summer weather all year long, and this is how usually varies:

Dec-Feb is like 65-75 degrees (cooler temperature we can get)

Feb-May is from 70-85

May is raining season but that does mean it rains every day or anything like that

June-Aug is 70-85 again

Sept-Nov is hurricane season but they hardly strike us and temperature stays between 70-85

The weather only varies by about 3 degrees, 84 to 87. The humidity is more May to October, however, I was there in June it was great, we also went in August it was a little hotter due to the humidity but not bad. There is a little more rain also at this time but showers usually last at the most 30 minutes and are refreshing. We flew in August the day of the last major hurricaine, lots of rain was predicted, we had a little only the 1st day.

it will be great, punta cana is a great vacation spot, ivebeen 4 times, and it never gets old, th etemperature ranges from 70-90ish, but its not vety humid, except in hurricane season, which is not may you should defanately go

I was there mid may in 2007 and it was great. Hot, of course, and nothing but sunshine.
