Joshua Wood 1785-1865?

Any help on his parents, etc.? Born in VA, married Jane Stephenson in Pendleton County 1810, moved to Lewis (now Barbour) 1830s. Father's name said to be James. Father of James (b c1815), Hester (b. c1816), Cynthia, Joshua Jr. (b c1825). no death record or will in Lewis, Barbour, or Upshur County (now in WV). Jane died a day before or after he did, so any Joshua Wood who married anyone else is another Joshua. Any leads? (Ted Pack, can you help?)

Update:

Sorry, first answerer, but this is not the same Joshua. My Joshua is listed in the censuses of 1850 and1860 as 65 and 75. Second answerer, this is the right man (and his son), but the Bible information, etc., is mostly what I posted elsewhere myself. But thank you both for going to the effort! I continue to hope!

Update 2:

Now the two answers that I responded to are in reverse order. It's Long Tooth who found me a different Joshua and Jan who found information about the right one. It's the parents and earlier ancestors of this one that I'm trying to find.

    EDIT: I posted that Joshua Wood because the discussion said that he married a Jane Stephenson in 1810. Now I went back to get more and all the archives at rootsweb have been deleted by ancestry.com. The Google cache history is all that remains of this research, I wonder for how long?

    Joshua's marriage to Jane Stephenson is recorded in MARRIAGES OF PENDLETON COUNTY, VIRGINIA, 1788-1853, p. 70.

    Joshua and Jane moved from Pendleton to Lewis County (evidently the area that became part of Barbour in 1843) in the 1830's. Source: Pendleton County land records, the last of which referes to the couple as "of Lewis." )
