Bagpipes - question the other day?

Don´t know if I really got this right, but I think, the other day someone asked a question here, stating, that he had shot some bagpipes and wanted to know a good recipe for them. Was this a joke, I didn´t get or ARE there animals, called bag-pipes. Help an old confused woman, please!

    Yeah, it's hunting season in Scotland, but they normally go shooting Haggis (not bagpipes - but they look a bit like bagpipes). It's very nice when roasted with neaps and tatties.

    All the wild bagpipes have been hunted to extinction, I think.

    if he shot the bagpipes he probably broke them and was asking if you knew how to fix them.
