Barack for Jesus?
Do you think If Sen. Obama would mention God or his faith more in his campaign, like Gov. Huckabee, would he be as well like as he is now.
What do you think? Why or Why not?

First of all Sen Obama is not Muslim. I think that if he spoke out about his faith that's his business. I think that he is pretty popular without having to go into details and specifics of his faith and worship. I don't think religion can hurt hurt your campaign, as long as you are about what you say you are. People are gonna vote for the person they feel is going to ensure their freedoms (freedom of religion especially) regardless to race, religion or culture of the candidate

Faith matters. People won't vote for a man who threaten or does not respect their faith even if they are not deeply attached to it. It's quite ironing but many ordinary people will turn extremely faithful the moment that faith is endangered.

I really don't trust candidates who pander to so-called people of faith. And that's because they either are just truly pandering to them to win votes, or because they may really believe the stuff they're spouting off. And that's scary. I don't care what Obama's religion is. I don't care what his father's religion was. Religion is kind of like dirty underwear: you shouldn't really be showing it off out in public!
Still, I will only vote for Obama if I have to. He is not my first choice.

I think Sen. Obama is a man of faith, but first he is an American and believes in the separation of church and state. All the more reason to vote for him in my book. Which I look forward to doing in November.

probably not.
mentioning God or his faith in general, would likely turn those against him.
Most ppl dont like it when someone uses the Bible as their platform.
Ppl want a president not a preacher.

I personally don't need to know where Mr Obama stands on the religion issue. I prefer that he keep his faith (if he has one) out of the nomination process and, most importantly, out of the White House and his policies.

If he started about God and Christianity, considering that's not how he started, I think most would distrust him and some, like me, would lose any respect for him

Obama thinks he is god and he talks about him self all the time actually

Gah.. If Barack wants to talk about Jesus, he should start living like him first. At least Huckabee walks his talk.
