Eternal happiness,where a person can get?

happiness requires you to just want the things you do have, instead of wanting things you don't have, however, as for ETERNAL happiness, that is between you and your god

there is a line in a stan getz song "happiness is like a feather falling to the ground"

i think thats true. life is both sweet and sour

and as they say, nothing lasts at all..

i guess happiness is accepting that and keeping the good things in mind when faced with the bad and vice versa.

that way we can make the most of what we have, which is really quite amazing, i mean its so amazing just to be alive.,,

we make our own luck

meditation helps for me,ive been doing vipassana and its very useful to keep a postive outlook, but i would not say ive found eternal happiness- not yet at least!.

im not sure it exists of it does, ok if not then ok too.

im trying my best, and when life is good its really good and when its sad or bad that just make the good times sweeter, right?

You can have eternal happiness right here, right now.

Just drop all of your desires and expectations. You can do that through zazen (zen meditation). All your desires are just empty fantasies anyway. You never can fulfill them all, and when you do fulfill one, two more pop-up to take it's place. As long as you have desires, you're in a endless cycle of never-ending misery.

Just drop them all. Right now.
