Christians , Have you ever wanted to go to a ?

web site and mock and ridicule others for their belief just for the fun of it. What do you think it says about the character of a person that goes out of their way to do so? Do you think they are secure in their non belief or that is why they really try so hard to give them a false sence of security?

Update:

I agree Monte54.

Update 2:

Right on jinx

Never held a sign saying repent, but thanks for generalizing and grouping everything into one catagory so you seem secure that you have it figured out.

Amen. I am a Catholic, and I sometimes believe we are the only group that it's politically correct to bash. I think people who do that are very insecure with themselves and knock people down to build themselves up..

Oh don't worry... I often shake the dust off my feet before I log off... The Bible is so much enjoyable fun that it is no joking! I really mean it! I am not insulting anybody with the God's Holy Word the Bible... The Sword of The LORD! I've been an ordained pastor for many years before I really saw the light!...

Jesus loved to have his feet extensively kissed by any prostitute in a party where prostitutes were also invited. He even expected that his male host would do the same to him.

Luke 7:45 (NIV) You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet.

God the Son Jesus Christ was partying all the time. He became aware that he was probably overdoing it because of what "people say". He spent more time with “sinners” than with “Holy Joes”.

Luke 7:34 (NIV) (Jesus said) "The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners* (*prostitutes)!"

By the way, Jesus had a “favorite” disciple of unknown gender known only among the Apostles as “the disciple that Jesus loved” which leaves open the possibility that God the Son Jesus Christ was a very well balanced bisexual person given the fact that he never spoke against homosexuality or lesbianism, but he was very apologetic about the fate of Sodom. He promised as the Judge of the World to be very lenient to Sodom in the Final Day of Judgment. To make it a point by comparison he said that the Jews will fare much worse in the Judgment Day. The fact that he wishes to be surrounded for all eternity by 144,000 Jewish virgin boys (NOT GIRLS! Nuns need not to apply!) who were not defiled by women* (*not sinful women, just WOMEN…!) is very significant! On the other hand, Jesus promised that the PROSTITUTES will enter Heaven ahead of the Jews! Isn’t it so nice when the Judge tells you how he will judge you before your day in court?

I prefer namecalling over being fed to wild beasts. And no, I don't think atheists are secure or mature; but I've seen Christians who exemplify the word "baby". Perhaps it is human nature to mock what is not understood.

It doesn't look like things have changed all that much since the days of Noah. Remember, God waited patiently for 120 years while Noah and his sons built the ark. How long has Yahoo existed?

  • The Wiccan forum I'm on has had quite a few Christians sign up and post obnoxious things just to make fun of Wiccans (at least until the Mods got smart and tightened the security on newbie privileges).

So... it's not the religion, it's the individual. And individuals come in all religions.

No. I never have had that urge. Hopefully, I never will.

Those that are most hostile, rude, and engage in mockery of others are feeling insecure, threatened, and possibly the Truth of the Holy Spirit.

    Remember Saint Paul.

God can "Save" any persons He wishes. Throughout history this is proven as True. Amazing Grace.

I've never felt the need to do that. I respect people's right to believe or not believe as they see fit. I also have great respect for the devout of any religion.

Of course, after I put my religion in the source box, we will see how many "Christians" feel the same. Which will be funny because it will be the same people saying they would never feel the need to bash others.

I came here as an Atheist to ridicule Christians, but the Pagans converted me. So you see, there IS a higher purpose for these places.

You all do enough mocking and ridiculing on the sidewalks holding your retarded "repent now" signs.
