kind of God we want Him to be? We are to know Him and Make Him known. Does it seem like "some" people change Him and then make it sound good to others for their own level discipline? Does a person Love someone more by telling them the truth and not just what they do not want to hear.
Yes, We are to meet people where they are and not condemn them for it but shouldn't we show them the light that saves which is the pathway to pleasing God?

I find that those who believe that God only exists in the Bible or believe that God could only create the world or people the way the Bible tells it are creating God the way they want him to be but not the way he is. God, who is ever-present and all-knowing, is bigger than a book or a story written in that book to explain things to a primitive people who were wondering.
I, too, could say the same about you since I believe that the Catholic Church is the one, true Christian religion, but I don't assume that I have the only access to the "light that saves" or the "pathway which is pleasing to God." There are many more things that are pleasing to God than many of you so-called Christians are willing to accept.
Well, then, I just showed you love by telling you the truth and not just what you wanted to hear. Did you accept the truth I told you?

I believe in a loving God, Christians believe in a semi-loving, vengeful God.
Why would I trade mine for yours?
Why would I accept YOUR truth.
You have accepted a God that was designed by the human writers of the Bible. THAT God was designed by the dozen different men that wrote chapters, all of whom had different opinions. They each designed God the way they wanted him to be. Then you take an average of the conglomerate and that is who God is to you.

Its not just Answers, its Christianity as an average.
I am all for the fire and brimstone approach, because it highlights the true nature of the God you are being asked to worship as loving.
I am incapable of worshiping a God who will one day torture my kids.

"Some" people? Please. Ask 100 believers about god and you'll get 100 different answers. All believers imbue god with their own personal fears and prejudices.
