There was a reason why Hamza and the 2 others stood forward in the first trial.

Research the reason and you will see why one was told to stand back and watch.

The first battle of Islam, after it ws done Muhammed SAW told them the odds we had here are nothing compaired to the odds that we are going to face now.

321 Along side Al Mahdi, with Muhammed SAW ordering Jibreal A.s. to come down and that is more than enough but Allah SWT will send Micheal A.s and 400,000 angels to stand next to them for surely the world will be awe struck when that happens. Al hamdoullah.

"You will not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, making friendship with those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their fathers, their sons, their brothers or their kindred ." 58: 22

Ibn Kathir said, "even though they were their fathers" refers to Abu `Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah when he killed his father in the Battle of Badr."Or their sons" refers to Abu Bakr As-Siddique who almost killed his own son, `Abdur Rahman, on the same day. "Or their brothers" concerns Mus'ab bin `Umair who killed his brother, `Ubaid bin `Umair, again in the Battle of Badr. "Or their kindred [people]" refers to `Umar bin Al-Khattab who killed a relative of his on the same day. It also refers to Hamza and `Ali who killed `Utbah, Shaibah and Al- Waleed bin `Utbah.
