Why Are Women Turning to Islam?

because Islam is beautiful religion which preaches the truth and also Islam was one of the first religions that gave women an equal status as men although many of the people answering this question may disagree.

Islam is a last and the best religion of the world. It got its originality. Quran exist in its original forms. Both man and women enjoyed equal rights. The entire world is turning towards the Islam. It is the will of the Almighty God. Nobody can stop it. At last truth will exist. A day has come to submit your everything in the name of Allah. Allah will prevail and every thing will be destroyed. Allah is blessing to those who accept the truth and at last truth will prevails over the evils.May God showers blessing those who accept the truth.

Islam is not equal for women. Anyone who reads the Koran could see that for themselves.

Men can just say they are divorced but a woman must produce permission from (yes, you guessed correctly ) a man to get a divorce and he must believe her reason or she won't be granted one so she must then produce evidence. A husband can beat his wife for disobedience or for arguing with him or for displeasing him in anyway, but there is no law like that for a woman to do the same. Only for the man. There are other stupid rules which women have to obey but not the same for the men. Men can have many wives but women one husband, and if he is nothing but a cheat with more than one wife, she has to get permission to get rid of him legally. In Islam men it could be said own the women because they ( the men ) are bigger and stronger than women which is definitely not equal in anyway.

Islam is not a religion for women, to me it is a religion for men who want everyone to believe he is tarzan and ruler of the universe itself.

Allah’s Messenger, who amongst the people is most deserving of my good treatment? He said: Your mother, again your mother, again your mother, then your father, then your nearest relatives according to the order (of nearness).

One hadith already cited above says, "Stay with [your mother], because Paradise is at her feet."

No matter how religious we are, but if we disrespect our mother, (even to raise our voice), we will never enter heaven, untill we ask for forgiveness.

A child must respect and honour his parents and extend to them the sort of treatment which befits their position as parents.

why you are eating why breathing why thinking sleeping thousand of whys and one reason because they believing that Islam is liberating women and give here human rights what you see on media is not right i am Muslim i believe in god and in all other religions and i have my own rights and my freedom and that's what quran said you should read it through a Muslim's eye to under stand it

and that terrorism that you see has no religion and has no home

And they assume somebody else knows what it is,

No one can live with the decisions of their own,

It seems so they look to someone else,

To tell them what to do,

Tellem what to wear,

Tellem what to say,

Tellem how to act and think

And compel others compulsively

Until the world is all like them

about 10 years alot of women were becoming wiccans its a faze they are going thru

and every woman i knew who converted to islam married a muslim man

it is a beautiful religion.

but most outsiders only focus on the extremists.

which is ridiculous

its like classifying all christians with abortion clinic bombers.

most of westeners think that people who are islamic want to constrict and abuse women. actually historically - islam is more woman friendly (remember the inquisition?)

This site is propaganda. a lot of women convert when they marry someone who is Islamic.....but other than that I see no over riding logic in choosing Islam over any other religion and many not to join any specific religious group.
