Are trench coats still in style? im thinking of getting a leather one?

They are very much in style, and always will be. Go for it! :)

IF you are an old man I would refrain from getting a leather trench coat. (Especially if you are short in stature).

Just my opinion, I think a short leather clean cut jacket (no bomber jackets) and a dark turtleneck will do wonders for you and make you look younger too.

If you really need a long coat for weather go with camel hair, cashmere, wool or a blend of wool and the two previous mentioned.

I believe long leather to be outdated but, hey, you may bring the fad back! :) Good luck Grandpa.

Age has nothing to do with clothing. I wear a hat because I don't like caps. Now my great nephew is wearing one and so is half his class. My nephew is 9 years old. As far as trench coats wear what you like but I draw the line at dresses. My legs are not good enough, remember I'm an old man too.

Trench coats NEVER go out of style! I saw a guy in a trench coat 25 years ago and when he caught my eye, he opened it... oh my god, what I saw!!! They do have that stigma, but a nice leather one would be really sexy on you, grand pa! Go for it!!!

Trench coats have been around for ages. They will always be in style. Wear what you want and don't pay attention to anyone who says you can't.

Um, I hate to say it, but a leather trench on anyone screams 'pervert' to me. You don't say how old you are (soooo subjective!) but nothing beats a well tailored wool or wool/cashmere (if you have the $$$) trench. An oiled cotton Barbour trench can be very nice too. You also don't mention where you live which would also help - cold/snow/rain???

yes, trench coats are very in, however leather ones are not. you should absolutely buy one.

see im 20 and i love the darkness i love the smale of fear so i were a black one even in 90 degree wather i all was wolk at nite in black i dont fear death with it on i can bring out the true darknees in me but its up to you thay are rite its cool but some my fear you, call you a rapist, or someone will kill you i was thrown from school for it it was after 9 11 i was on line looking at sawed off shot guns in school and i had some ask if i was in the mofea but its all up to you.
