how can I get rid of unwanted people what are writing me on my yahoo messenger. Can I block them somehow?

Go to the messenger board and click on messenger. Scroll to preferences, click there then new menu appears. Click on Ignore, under Ignore List click on Ignore any one who is not on my Messenger List. Then click Ok. It is best to restart the comp for effectiveness

If they are not being sent into your spam folder, then chances are your email information was sold by a vendor that you've been in contact with. If you get repeat spams from the same place, then you should click on the message, scroll to the bottom, and click on unsubscribe. It sounds like a pain, but it's the most efficient way to stop most of your spam.

maybe your email address is listed somewhere? Try not to list it on the web to avoid people just adding you.

You could always start a fresh one, and tell only those you care about!

I dont use yahoo, i use msn. Im sure yahoo would let you block them.

Take them out of messenger, I had somebody who became sending some exceptionally stupid stuff, so I blocked them from my e mail... took them off of each and every thing and the project became solved
