My co-workers name is Frank and they always call him Frank the tank. I dont really get what this means. Who is this? Who is Frank the tank? Does he really exist or what does this name mean. Im lost so anyone help me!!?

Frank "The Tank" is the nickname of Frank Thomas, who plays baseball for the Toronto Blue Jays.
Also, it was the nickname for Will Ferrell's character in the movie Old School.

Frank the Tank is a character played by will Ferrell in the movie Old School. Frank had a drinking problem, and when he was really drunk his friends called him Frank the Tank.
